It's been a year for me with Rising Fire now. I have grown so much! My confidence and boldness has been stirred up and shaken and pressed down so much now I'm moving into overflow! Started out with vocal lessons and then switched to piano lessons. The mentorship I have recieved from Tanja has been priceless to me. Working with Tanya is more than just having a vocal coach. When I connected with her, I felt strongly that for me it was about more than just vocal training, as I have a lung that has not fully inflated for several years. Tanya was sharing last week about some research she had done on breathing, which resonated in my spirit. She was explaining that a slow/steady inhale rate enables our lungs to fully fill, something that she has been working with me on since January. During a worship night a couple of weeks ago, I felt my lung take in a full breath, I had not felt air go down that deep for some time and has continued to do so. I believe the breath training is plowing the way!
