Tips and Tricks to Great Cell Phone Footage

1. Always film in Landscape, not portrait. Simply flip your phone on it's side and record.

2. Always face your light source - Whether that's a window or an actual light, You want your face properly lit when on Camera. Never place the light behind you.

3. Place the phone on a steady object, elevated the camera at or slightly above your eye level... Looking down to the camera is not flattering. You want to be looking eye level or slightly up.

4. Compose your shot! You'd like your eyes to be in the upper third of the shot.

5. Film away from noise, in a quiet place with little to no echo. If you're in a big empty room, or next to a noisy space, that will lessen the quality of your audio. Remember, bad audio ruins even the best visuals!
